
Karachi: Shoaib Bangulzai, former chairman of the Baloch Students Council at Bahauddin Zakariya University, has reportedly been forcibly disappeared from the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of Karachi.
According to reports, plainclothes personnel abducted Bangulzai, son of Haji Deen Muhammad Bangulzai, at approximately 2:30 AM on Monday night near his residence. He was taken to an unknown location, and his current whereabouts remain undisclosed.
Shoaib Bangulzai hails from Dera Murad Jamali in Nasirabad district, Balochistan. His family has confirmed the abduction and stated that no information has been provided about his condition or location.
Relatives condemned the incident as a clear case of enforced disappearance, labeling it a severe violation of human rights and a source of immense psychological distress for the family.
They have appealed to civil society, journalists, human rights organizations, and all conscientious individuals to raise their voices for Shoaib Bangulzai’s immediate and safe release, and to pressure relevant authorities to address this grave injustice.
