Balochistan: Armed assailants have reportedly targeted Pakistani forces in separate attacks across the districts of Kech, Panjgur, and Awaran in Balochistan.
According to local sources, on Saturday night, multiple explosions rocked a naval camp in Turbat, the main city of Kech district, followed by intense gunfire that continued for an extended period. The attack is believed to have caused casualties and material losses to the forces.
In a separate incident, the district of Panjgur witnessed a series of explosions and heavy gunfire that lasted for several hours. Reports indicate that armed men targeted a military camp, though further details are still emerging.
Meanwhile, in the Malar Machhi area of Awaran, armed men launched an attack on a military checkpoint around 6:00 PM on Saturday. Locals reported hearing loud explosions and sustained gunfire. There are concerns that the attack may have resulted in casualties and damage to the security forces.
The frequency and intensity of such attacks on Pakistani forces have increased in recent months. While Baloch armed groups have claimed responsibility for similar operations in the past, no group has yet claimed responsibility for these recent assaults.
