
The spokesperson of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), Jeeyand Baloch, has claimed responsibility for two major engagements with the Pakistani military in Turbat and Duki districts, resulting in the deaths of 22 enemy personnel and injuries to several others. Six BLA fighters were martyred in these confrontations and have been honored for their valor and sacrifice.
According to the spokesperson, the first clash occurred on the night of April 29 in Dank, Turbat, when Pakistani forces attempted to encircle BLA’s urban guerrilla operatives. In response, BLA fighters launched a strong counter-attack. The firefight began at approximately 3:30 AM and continued until sunrise. During the engagement, BLA also targeted a military convoy, inflicting significant casualties 13 soldiers were killed and many injured. Three BLA fighters Nabeel alias Ali, Feroz Sarban alias Nod Bandag, and Mohammad Umar Zaka alias Guru embraced martyrdom in this operation.
The second engagement took place on April 8 in the Kapuri area of Duki, where BLA fighters encountered enemy forces during a patrol. In the extended battle, 9 enemy personnel were killed, and several others wounded. BLA lost three fighters in this battle: Abdul Wahab alias Deedag, Rahim Khan Marri alias Sarang, and Zahid Ali alias Wash Dil.
Tributes to the Martyred BLA Fighters
- Nabeel Ahmed alias Ali hailed from Gokdan, Turbat, and was a former activist of the Baloch Students Organization. He joined the armed struggle in 2009 and endured imprisonment, torture, and severe injuries during previous operations. Nabeel led several missions and was serving as a unit commander at the time of his martyrdom. He embraced martyrdom by taking his own life rather than being captured by the enemy, in line with the “last bullet” philosophy.
- Feroz Sarban alias Nod Bandag, from Absar, Turbat, and brother-in-law of martyr Ilyas Nazar, joined the movement in 2022. A student of political science and an artist, he embodied both cultural resistance and battlefield courage.
- Mohammad Umar Zaka alias Guru, also from Gokdan, Turbat, was a former Levies force member who chose the path of resistance. A skilled IED expert, he was part of BLA’s elite Special Tactical Operations Squad (STOS).
- Abdul Wahab alias Deedag, from Zehri, joined BLA in 2022, quickly rising to unit commander and serving in the “Fatah Squad.” Known for leadership and strategic decision-making, he fought until his last breath.
- Rahim Khan Marri alias Sarang, from Yakho, Bolan, was the elder brother of martyred BLA fighter Ghani Khan Marri. He was a frontline commander in Bolan and Naghaho fronts, providing leadership and morale to fellow fighters.
- Zahid Ali alias Wash Dil, from Jhalri, Bolan, joined BLA in 2018 and was active in Makran, Bolan, and Kohan fronts. A cousin of martyr Nasir Marri, he was known for his quiet dedication and bravery.

BLA salutes its six fallen fighters who have left an indelible mark on the national liberation struggle. Despite the enemy’s technological and numerical superiority, BLA fighters have proven that determination, discipline, and revolutionary spirit can overpower brute force. These sacrifices are the foundation of Baloch resistance, and their memory will remain eternal.
The BLA reiterates its unwavering commitment to continue the mission of its martyrs, destroy every enemy stronghold, and liberate the Baloch homeland from the chains of occupation.
