
In a renewed crackdown in Balochistan, Pakistani security forces and intelligence agencies have forcibly disappeared at least six Baloch youth from different areas, sparking widespread concern among families and human rights advocates.
In the coastal town of Pasni, Gwadar three young men namely Usman Baloch, Waris Momin, and Aamir Khan Baloch — were abducted by Pakistani forces. According to local sources, Usman and Aamir were detained from a barbershop, while Waris Momin was taken into custody from the RHC hospital during his duty hours. Families of the victims have demanded their immediate release, asserting that none of the youths are involved in any illegal activity. Among them, Aamir Khan Baloch is reported to be a student.
Meanwhile, in Turbat, the central city of Kech district, two teenage students — 17-year-old Shay Haq son of the Martyred Altaf Baloch and 16-year-old Adam Saleem — were abducted by Pakistani forces and intelligence officials on April 29. The boys had just returned from Karachi and were reportedly picked up shortly after their arrival. Both are first-year students, and their families are calling for their safe and immediate release.
In another incident in Turbat’s D-Baloch area, a man identified as Abdul Majeed son of Abdul Ghani was forcibly disappeared by suspected intelligence operatives. According to his family, Majeed had arrived from Karachi and was waiting with his children when armed men abducted him at gunpoint and forced him into a vehicle. His family revealed that this was not the first such incident, as his brother was also previously abducted in a similar manner but was later released.
The families of all victims have voiced deep concern over the rising cases of enforced disappearances and urged the government and relevant authorities to ensure the safe return of their loved ones.
