The South Korea chapter of the Baloch National Movement (BNM) held a peaceful protest in the city of Busan yesterday to raise its voice against the ongoing crackdown on leaders and members of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC). The aim of the protest was to highlight the injustices faced by Baloch activists who are peacefully struggling for their fundamental rights and a life of dignity.
During the protest, participants delivered speeches in the Korean language to inform the local population about the severe human rights violations taking place in Balochistan. Slogans were also chanted condemning the violent attempts by the Pakistani state to silence Baloch voices, and protesters called for justice.
The demonstrators demanded the immediate release of Dr. Mahrang Baloch, Beebow Baloch, Bibgar Baloch, Shah Ji Baloch, GulZadi Baloch and all other detained activists who have been arbitrarily arrested.
Additionally, BNM distributed hundreds of informational pamphlets among the public to raise awareness about the enforced disappearance of Dr. Mahrang Baloch and the ongoing state repression against peaceful Baloch activists.
