The father of forcibly disappeared Nisar Ahmed has submitted his son’s details to the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) in an effort to seek justice and safe recovery.
Mohammad Aslam, the father, stated that his son Nisar Ahmed was a professional driver who supported the family by driving. On November 29, 2024, personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC) and other state agencies illegally detained Nisar from their home in Imam Bakhsh Bazaar, Absar, Turbat, after which he was forcibly disappeared. He added that no information has been provided regarding his son’s whereabouts, which has left the family under immense psychological distress and disrupted their lives completely.
At the organizational level, Mohammad Aslam was assured that Nisar Ahmed’s case would be submitted to the provincial government and the commission on enforced disappearances, and that efforts would be made at every platform for his safe recovery.
Nasrullah Baloch, chairman of VBMP, urged the government to bring Nisar Ahmed to light and present him in court if any charges exist, and to allow him the opportunity to defend himself under national laws. If innocent, he should be immediately released to relieve his family from their current state of pain and suffering.
