Quetta (Press Release) The spokesperson of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) has strongly condemned the inhumane treatment of their member, Gulzadi Baloch, stating that she was brutally tortured by CTD officials before being transferred to Huda Jail in Quetta.
According to the statement, Gulzadi Baloch was forcefully taken away by CTD officers and police around 8 PM last night. Her whereabouts remained unknown for hours until she was brought to Huda Jail around midnight. The spokesperson revealed that male CTD officials physically assaulted and tortured her for over four hours.
This brutal act of violence against a female activist is part of the state’s ongoing campaign of terror against the peaceful Baloch resistance.
The BYC spokesperson held the state fully responsible for the torture inflicted on Gulzadi Baloch and emphasized that such fascist tactics will not succeed in silencing their movement.
