Baloch Raaji Aajoi Sangar (BRAS) Claims Responsibility for 72 Coordinated Attacks on March 27

Baloch Raaji Aajoi Sangar (BRAS) freedom fighters executed a total of 72 operations throughout Balochistan during a coordinated military operation on March 27. These operations were focused on targeting the occupying Pakistani army, paramilitary forces, intelligence agencies, state-backed death squad agents, government installations, vehicles carrying minerals and energy, and other state interests. In these attacks, at least 32 personnel of occupying forces were eliminated, more than 40 others were injured, and 14 vehicles were completely destroyed.

The BRAS spokesperson, Baloch Khan, stated, “These attacks reflect our ongoing resistance to the occupation of Balochistan by Pakistan, which began in 1948. Our military operations are designed not just to inflict damage but to continue to challenge the occupation and send a clear message that Balochistan is still an occupied territory.”

Blockades and Snap-Checking During the operation, BRAS freedom fighters set up blockades at more than 30 locations on major highways across Balochistan. These blockades, which lasted for several hours, restricted the movement of the enemy forces and allowed freedom fighters to identify and target enemy personnel through planned snap-checking. Baloch Khan emphasized that these strategies demonstrated the dynamic and guerrilla capabilities of BRAS, enabling them to maintain control in multiple areas.

Attacks in Gwadar and Surrounding Areas In one of the more significant actions, freedom fighters blockaded the Coastal Highway in Gwadar between Pasni and Ormara for two hours. During this blockade, six Pakistani army personnel traveling in passenger buses were neutralized. Additionally, a gas tanker carrying LPG was set on fire and completely destroyed.

On the night of March 27, freedom fighters targeted a Pakistani army vehicle in the Gwadar Port Authority area at Padi Zir using a remote-controlled IED, killing five enemy soldiers and seriously injuring two others. The vehicle was completely destroyed.

Targeted Attacks on Enemy Installations In the ongoing operations across Balochistan, freedom fighters also launched several attacks on enemy installations. In Turbat, BRAS fighters targeted an occupying army post near the Grade on Airport Road with heavy automatic weapons, causing casualties and damage. Furthermore, fighters fired several rounds using a grenade launcher at the customs camp near the National Bank in Pasni city, leading to losses among the customs personnel.

Freedom fighters also attacked the Coast Guard camp near Hokaar in Jeewani, inflicting casualties on the enemy army. These operations continued with blockades and snap-checking across other regions, including Turbat, Kech, Noshki, and Dera Bugti.

Major Operations in Kech, Sibi, and Kharan In Kech, freedom fighters attacked an army camp in Madagh Kalat from two directions using heavy weapons, including rocket and grenade launchers. As a result, at least four Pakistani soldiers were killed, with more casualties and property damage inflicted.

A separate operation in Sibi saw BRAS fighters capture the Mirzani police check post, arresting all personnel and seizing their weapons before releasing them. Further, a blockade was set up in Bakhtiarabad, where a clash resulted in two personnel being eliminated and several others injured.

Blockades in Dera Bugti and Other Areas BRAS freedom fighters also executed a series of successful blockades and operations in Dera Bugti, where they attacked an army checkpoint at Kattan Pul, a police post in Sohbatpur, and a gas pipeline near Rajhanpur. These operations resulted in significant property damage and disrupted the energy supply to Pakistan.

Martyrdom of Fighter Jahanzeb Mengal Alias Balach Jam The statement also reported the martyrdom of BRAS fighter Jahanzeb Mengal, known as Balach Jam, who died during a fierce clash in Noshki on the night of March 27. During the clash, which lasted three hours, Balach Jam fought alone against enemy forces, eliminating eight Pakistani soldiers and injuring several others before being mortally wounded himself.

Baloch Khan praised the courage of Martyr Jahanzeb, stating, “Martyr Balach was not only a combat expert but also a politically conscious resistance worker. He had been associated with the Baloch Liberation Army for two years and played a key role in many successful operations against the enemy. His martyrdom strengthens our resolve to continue the struggle for an independent Balochistan.”

BRAS Reaffirms Commitment to Resistance BRAS ended its statement by reaffirming its commitment to continuing the struggle for Balochistan’s liberation. The spokesperson stressed, “We are committed to carrying out the mission of the martyrs. This is not just a symbolic resistance but a direct challenge to the occupying forces. These attacks will continue with greater intensity until the liberation of our homeland is achieved.”
