Balochistan National Party (BNP) chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal has strongly condemned the harassment and threats against BNP workers and senior leaders in Khuzdar.
In a statement on X(Formerly Tweeter), Sardar Akhtar Mengal stated that BNP officials’ homes are being raided, and they are receiving direct threats from the current Deputy Commissioner, warning them against participating in tomorrow’s peaceful long march.
He emphasized that the march is entirely nonviolent and aims solely to demand justice for enforced disappearances and the inhumane treatment of Baloch mothers and sisters. He further warned that any act of harassment, detention, or use of force against participants, including members of political parties, will not go unnoticed.
“The full responsibility for any consequences will rest on those issuing these threats and carrying out such repressive tactics,” Sardar Akhtar Mengal asserted. “We will not remain silent. We are marching for justice.”
