Karachi: Karachi police have launched a crackdown against the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC). According to recent reports, BYC Deputy Organizer Lala Wahab Baloch, leader Sumi Deen, and several male and female activists have been taken into custody and moved to an undisclosed location.
Today, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) staged a protest in Karachi against the illegal enforced disappearances of its leaders, including Dr. Mahrang Baloch, Bebagr Baloch, and other peaceful protesters detained by Pakistani forces.
During the demonstration in front of the Karachi Press Club, police arrested Sammi, Lala Wahab Baloch, and several others, further escalating the crackdown on Baloch activists.
The arrests come amid escalating state repression against Baloch activists, with authorities intensifying efforts to silence dissent.
