Bolan. March 11, 2025 – The Baloch Liberation Army BLA has issued a statement claiming to have captured over 100 Pakistani security forces personnel following a strategic operation in the Mashkaf area of Dhadar, Bolan, where they derailed the Jaffar Express.
According to Jeeyand Baloch, spokesperson for the BLA, the operation resulted in the deaths of six Pakistani military personnel. The BLA asserts that the individuals now in their custody include active-duty members of the Pakistani military, police, Anti-Terrorism Force (ATF), and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).”We have over 100 security personnel in our custody,” stated Jeeyand Baloch in a press release distributed to media outlets. “Any military intervention by Pakistani forces will result in the execution of all hostages.”
The BLA spokesperson confirmed that women, children, and Baloch passengers were released during the operation, emphasizing that all remaining hostages are serving members of various Pakistani security agencies. The operation was reportedly conducted by the BLA’s Fidayeen Unit, Majeed Brigade, with support from the Fateh Squad, STOS, and the Zirab intelligence wing.
The derailment of the Jaffar Express and the subsequent claims of mass hostage-taking have significantly escalated tensions in the already volatile Balochistan region.
