The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for an attack on Pakistani forces in Bolan. In a statement released to the media, BLF stated that on the morning of March 8, its fighters ambushed Pakistani paramilitary forces as they entered the mountainous region of Bardi, Bolan, for an operation. As a result, four Frontier Corps (FC) personnel, including Naib Subedar Flak Naz, were eliminated, while three others sustained injuries.
The BLF spokesperson, Major Gwahram Baloch, emphasized that the Bolan Pass has historically held strategic significance in Baloch resistance. He stated that even today, Bolan remains a key stronghold of the resistance movement, where the struggle for independence continues to inspire and spread awareness across Balochistan.
He further highlighted that during this operation, BLF fighters received strong support from the fighters of the pro-independence organization, United Baloch Army (UBA). He asserted that the BLF believes national liberation can only be achieved through unity and cooperation among the Baloch people and pro-independence organizations.
BLF accepted full responsibility for the attack and reiterated its commitment to continuing operations against the occupying Pakistani state until the liberation of Balochistan.
