The central spokesperson of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) has stated that the wave of enforced disappearances in Balochistan continues, with Pakistani forces forcibly disappearing approximately 41 individuals from Kalat, Quetta, Noshki and Turbat in recent days.
According to BYC, Pakistani forces arrested two young men from the Qambrani Road Quetta and subjected them to enforced disappearance.
Family members report that last night, around 11 PM, security forces raided the residence of Fazal Rehman Qambrani, son of Haji Khalil Qambrani and Zia Rehman Qambrani, son of Abdul Rasheed Qambrani in Killi Qambrani, forcibly taking them away.
Reports from Noshki indicate that dozens of young men have recently been forcibly disappeared and taken to unknown locations by Pakistani forces. Three more young men from Killi Jamaldini in Noshki have also fallen victim to enforced disappearance. Nasruddin, son of Malang Shah, went missing on February 21, 2025, at around 5 PM while returning home after working at a hotel near Noshki Station. His whereabouts remain unknown.
Additionally, two brothers, Abrar Baloch and Adnan Baloch, sons of Akbar Jamaldini, were forcibly taken from their home in Killi Jamaldini during the night between February 28 and March 1. Adnan Baloch was later released the following day. However, this is not the first time he has been subjected to enforced disappearance.
In Turbat, a 9th grade student named Gazain Liaquat, son of Liaquat, went missing yesterday evening after leaving his home in the Absar area. He was a student at Syed Hashmi Grammar School in Turbat and the son of former BSO Pajjar cadre Liaquat Baloch from Gishkor, Awaran.
From Kalat, Pakistani forces detained more than two dozen individuals last night and transferred them to unknown locations.
The BYC spokesperson Siad that, state repression in Balochistan, stating that hundreds of Baloch youth have been subjected to enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings and targeted assassinations this week alone. Protests and sit-ins against enforced disappearances, state violence and death squad atrocities continue across Balochistan.
In Kalat, security forces have been conducting house-to-house raids, and so far, at least 35 individuals have been forcibly disappeared. The forcibly disappeared have been identified as:
Ashfaq Baloch son of Khuda Bakhsh, Muhammad Ishaq son of Hafiz Ghulam Nabi, Jamil Ahmed son of Maulvi Yaseen, Muhammad Hamza son of Abdul Wahid, Mehrab son of Abdul Wahid, Misbah-ul-Haq son of Abdul Jabbar, Ghulamullah son of Abdul Rasheed, Ghulam Farooq son of Ghulam Nabi, Muhammad Mustafa son of Ghulam Haider, Mehr Tar Khan son of Ghulam Farooq, Abdul Ahmed son of Ali Ahmed, Nasser Ahmed son of Ali Ahmed, Balach Khan son of Attaullah, Faraz Ahmed son of Faiz Ahmed, Sajid on of Faisal, Mehr Tariq son of Jan Muhammad, Muhammad Bakhsh son of Jan Muhammad, Gattar Khan son of Dad Karim, Sameer Ahmed son of Haji Ramzan, Muhammad Ismail son of Dur Muhammad, Jameel son of Hidayatullah, Ismatullah son of Ghulam Haider, Saddam son of Muhammad Azim, Ali Dost son of Allah Bakhsh, Haji Abdul Raheem son of Ali Muhammad, Zakir son of Abdul Raheem, Muiz son of Muhammad Iqbal, Maulvi Munir Ahmed, Sarfaraz son of Munir Ahmed, Naik Muhammad, Ahmed son of Haji Muhammad Bakhsh, Naeem son of Abdul Samad, Asadullah son of Abdul Hameed, Khaleel Ahmed and Wajid Ahmed son of Khaleel Ahmed.
BYC strongly condemns state oppression in Balochistan and calls on human rights organizations, political and social activists, and all conscientious individuals to resist these atrocities. The committee demands the immediate release of Ashfaq Baloch and all other forcibly disappeared individuals from Kalat and across Balochistan.
