The spokesperson for the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), Major Gwahram Baloch, has claimed responsibility for two attacks carried out by BLF fighters in Turbat and Kharan. He stated that on February 28, at around 2 PM, BLF fighters launched an attack on the occupying forces’ checkpoint in the Meri Turbat. The attack began with multiple grenade launcher rounds, followed by heavy weapon fire.
As a result of the attack, two enemy personnel were injured, and the checkpoint suffered damage. After the attack, the occupying forces fired indiscriminately towards nearby residential areas for an extended period.
He further stated that in another attack, at around 12 PM today, BLF fighters targeted a construction company’s site at Kullan in Kharan. They set fire to a tractor and other machinery while warning the non local workers present at the site before letting them go.
Major Gwahram Baloch added that the Balochistan Liberation Front accepts responsibility for both attacks and reasserts that operations against the Pakistani military, military installations, and exploitative economic projects will continue until the establishment of an independent Balochistan.
