BLF Claims Responsibility for Attacks in Quetta’s and Jhao

Major Gwahram Baloch, Spokesperson for the Balochistan Liberation Front, has claimed responsibility for two attacks targeting Pakistani forces in Balochistan’s capital city Quetta and jhao regions.

In a statement to the media, Maj. Gwahram Baloch said its Sniper Tactical Team (STT) carried out an attack in the Kohdo area of Jhao, Awaran, on Sunday, December 8, at 6:00 PM. A Pakistani soldier stationed outside a military camp was reportedly killed in the attack.

BLF spokesperson further described the STT as “an elite unit of highly trained fighters specializing in precision strikes against the occupying forces and their key positions in Balochistan.”

“The main objective of the STT is to strike important enemy positions to disrupt their operations and ensure the success of our missions,” he said, adding that the team operates with “swift, stealthy, and effective tactics,” using advanced weaponry and expertise.

He claimed that repeated attacks by BLF fighters had inflicted “psychological defeat” on Pakistani forces. He alleged, “The enemy is attempting to conceal its casualties, both human and material.”

In a separate statement, the BLF also claimed responsibility for a hand grenade attack on a Frontier Corps (FC) check post in Quetta’s Brewery Bypass area on Friday, December 6, at 7:00 PM.“

The BLF fighters targeted a post of the occupying Pakistani forces with a hand grenade,” Major Baloch said, claiming the attack caused “both human and material losses.”

The BLF reiterated its commitment to continuing its attacks. “These operations are part of our ongoing resistance,” the group said. “We will continue targeting Pakistani forces and military installations until Balochistan achieves independence.
