The family of Diljan Baloch, who went forcibly disappeared by the Pakistani forces from Awaran district of Balochistan on June 12, 2024, has been sitting on a sit-in Protest in front of the DC office for the past twelve days and a seminar was also held last days in which BYC leader Sammi Deen Baloch also participated.
Today, the family members of Diljan Baloch held a press conference with the leader of Baloch Women’s Forum, Sultana Baloch, and said that “on November 25, they had negotiations with the district administration in which they asked for a three-day respite, while today it’s been four days passed.
Diljan’s family demands that 1. Diljan Baloch should be produced in court. 2. FIRs against those who have been registered during the protest should be terminated. 3. Harassment of sit-in participants should be stopped –
She announced that from tomorrow Diljan Baloch’s sister Zainab Baloch will sit on a hunger strike till death until her brother’s recovery. Sultana Baloch said that Baloch Women’s Forum is standing with Diljan’s family till the last day.
Paank, A human rights group working under BNM issued an alarming statement showing its concern regarding Dil Jan Baloch’s sister hunger strike till death announcement and said “this act is extremely dangerous and worrisome, so the real forces should show seriousness and provide justice to Diljan’s family by recovering them.
