QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: The protest camp of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) against enforced disappearances in Balochistan continued for the 6,386th day outside the Quetta Press Club.
Bibi Shahina attended the camp and submitted details of her son, Kamran Khan, son of Azizullah, to the organization. She said her son was taken into custody in front of the family on April 1, 2026, from Killi Kashmir Abad, Qambrani Road, Quetta and that they were assured he would be released within three days after questioning. Six months later, she said, he has neither been released nor has any information about him been provided to the family.
She appealed to senior officials to ensure her son’s recovery and spare the family further anguish.
VBMP Chairman Nasrullah Baloch assured her that Kamran’s case would be submitted to the Commission of Inquiry on Enforced Disappearances and to the government and that the organization would raise its voice at every forum for his safe recovery.
VBMP demanded the recovery of Kamran Khan and all other forcibly disappeared persons.
