QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a series of armed operations carried out across multiple districts of Balochistan between June 13 and June 20, 2026, resulting in the deaths of at least three security personnel, several others wounded, and the temporary seizure of a senior police office.

In a statement issued by BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, the militant organisation detailed four separate operations targeting Pakistani security forces and an state collaborator across the districts of Surab, Kalat, Turbat, and Shahrak.

In the most significant of the four operations, BLF fighters on June 20, 2026, carried out a multi-unit assault on the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) office in the Naghad area of Surab. According to the statement, fighters simultaneously blocked all main highway routes in and out of the area before advancing on the facility.

The group claims to have taken full control of the SSP office, confiscating eight firearms, magazines, bulletproof jackets, and other military equipment. Five official vehicles including two armoured vehicles, were reportedly set ablaze and destroyed within the compound.

Police personnel found at the scene were detained and interrogated before being released, the BLF stated, citing its “established rules of war and humanitarian grounds.”

On June 19, 2026, BLF fighters ambushed an army Bomb Disposal Squad convoy of two vehicles in the Sangdad area of Kalat. The organisation claims three squad members were killed on the spot, with several others wounded in the attack.

Also on June 19, BLF fighters launched a multiple rocket attack on the Pakistan Army’s main camp in the Apsar area of Turbat. The group claims the rockets hit their intended targets, causing both casualties and material damage, though independent verification of these claims was not immediately available.

In a separate incident, BLF fighters on June 13, 2026, detained a man identified as Nazir, son of Ali Muhammad, from a shop in the Dan area of Shahrak, Kech district. The group accused him of working as an informant for Pakistani security forces and alleged his involvement in an operation on March 2, 2023, in which two BLF fighters were killed.

The BLF states that following interrogation, Nazir was killed on June 16, 2026, in the Gat Kor area of Shapak.
