QUETTA: Raheem Baloch the Former Secretory General of Baloch National Movement (BNM) has strongly condemned the airstrikes carried out by Pakistan on a drug addiction rehabilitation center in Kabul, describing the incident as a highly condemnable act of aggression.
In a statement, he said that around 400 civilians were killed and approximately 250 others injured as a result of the strikes. He added that such actions could, prima facie, constitute a war crime under international humanitarian law.
Raheem Baloch emphasized that the principle of “might makes right” must not be allowed to dominate international relations. He warned that any global order that tolerates such conduct poses a grave risk to humanity and undermines the fundamental principles of justice and accountability.
He further stressed the importance of maintaining a rules-based international order grounded in humanitarian law, justice and respect for the right to self-determination, independence and sovereignty of all nations, regardless of their size or military strength.
Expressing sympathy with the victims, Raheem Baloch extended his condolences to the bereaved families and the people of Afghanistan affected by the reported attack.
