Quetta: Man Killed in Firing, Bullet-Riddled Body Recovered in Panjgur

Quetta/Panjgur: A resident of Panjgur was shot dead by unidentified armed men in Quetta, while in a separate incident, another body was recovered in Panjgur, officials said.

According to sources, the deceased in Quetta was identified as Suhail Shambayzai, younger brother of Maqbool Shambayzai and a resident of Panjgur. His body is being transported from Quetta to Panjgur. The time and location of the funeral prayers will be announced later. Police said an investigation has been initiated, though no details regarding the assailants or motive have yet been released.

Meanwhile, in Panjgur, a body was found near a date factory along the CPEC Road. Police identified the deceased as Jehanzeb, son of Muhammad Ali, a resident of Isa Sourg. Officials stated that the body was shifted to the district hospital for necessary legal formalities.

Initial reports indicate that the victim had sustained multiple bullet wounds. Family sources claimed that Jehangzeb had allegedly been taken away by unidentified armed men around four months ago and had remained missing since then.

It is noteworthy that during the current month, at least nine bodies have been recovered from various locations in Panjgur, Balochistan. According to local sources, the individuals had previously been reported missing. Authorities have not issued a comprehensive statement regarding the recent incidents.
