Panjgur: Three Children Injured After Pakistani Forces Fire Mortar Shells on Civilian Area

Panjgur: Three children were injured in Panjgur after Pakistani forces fired mortar shells into a residential area.

According to local sources, a mortar round fired on Wednesday landed on the house of Sadiq Baloch, son of Lal Muhammad, in the Chitkan area, injuring three children. The wounded were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, where they are receiving medical treatment.

It is noteworthy that two days earlier, five children were injured in a similar mortar shelling incident in Hoshab. The injured children included Yasmeen Nasir, Tahira Khalid, Dareen Khalid, and Asiya Shambah. Yasmeen Nasir later succumbed to her injuries.

Families of the deceased and injured children had staged a protest, blocking the CPEC road and demanding action against the shelling incidents.
