QUETTA: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a series of coordinated attacks across several districts of Balochistan over the past three days, alleging that seven Pakistani security personnel were killed in the operations. The group also reported the loss of one of its own members during clashes.
According to a statement released by BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, the most significant attack took place on 30 November in the Bibi Nani area of Bolan, where BLF fighters reportedly targeted a Frontier Corps convoy consisting of three vehicles. The group claimed that five security personnel were killed and several others injured, prompting forces to block the main highway after the incident.
The statement further claimed that BLF fighters carried out a close-range attack on a military checkpoint in Nosham, Kohlu, on 29 November, firing multiple RPG rounds that killed two personnel stationed at defensive posts.
BLF also said it attacked a Pakistani military camp in Mand Soro on the evening of 30 November, using heavy weapons and grenade launchers. The group asserted that the attack inflicted “human and material losses” on Pakistani security forces.
In Panjgur, the group claimed it mounted a four-hour blockade on the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route near Soraap on 29 November, during which fighters reportedly stopped vehicles and damaged four gas-transport carriers heading toward Punjab.
Additionally, Major Gwahram Baloch said that its fighters carried out a grenade attack targeting a Military Intelligence office in Kharan’s Red Zone on the night of 29 November, resulting in an explosion inside the facility.
On 28 November, the group claimed responsibility for firing multiple rockets at a security camp in Ball Nagor, Dasht, alleging further losses.
The statement also referenced clashes with Pakistani forces in Dhadar, Kachhi district, where security forces reportedly launched an aerial and ground operation against BLF fighters on 28–29 November.
According to the group, three missiles were fired by drones during the operation. BLF said its fighters survived the strikes, but one member Qadeer Ahmed alias Diljan, son of Abdul Malik Bangulzai was killed during ground fighting the following morning.
