Kachhi: Armed men targeted a Pakistani security forces vehicle with a landmine explosion followed by heavy gunfire, resulting in multiple casualties.
According to Kachhi Police, the incident took place near Goth Mahesar in the Kachhi district, where a vehicle from a security convoy struck a roadside landmine. The explosion was powerful, completely destroying the vehicle.
After the blast, armed assailants ambushed the forces using automatic weapons, killing several personnel on the spot. The attackers also seized weapons and other equipment from the security forces before fleeing the scene.
Local police and administrative officials confirmed that at least two personnel were injured in the attack. Following the incident, additional police and security units rushed to the area, cordoned off the site, and launched a search operation to track down the attackers.
