Protests in Pakistan-Administered Kashmir Enter Fourth Day Amid Clashes

MUZAFFARABAD: Today marks the fourth consecutive day of protests in Pakistan-administered Kashmir, with demonstrators continuing their strike at Lal Chowk in Muzaffarabad. The protests, organized by the People’s Action Committee (PAC), have intensified following reports of fatalities during recent demonstrations.

Clashes between police and protesters were reported at various locations across the region. The PAC has declared that the bodies will not be buried until their demands are met.

Earlier, funeral prayers for at least two individuals were held in Muzaffarabad, attended by a significant number of people.

The PAC has also stated that it will not enter into negotiations with the government committee concerning the 12 assembly seats in Pakistan-administered Kashmir until a resolution is reached.
