The spokesperson for the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), Jeeyand Baloch, issued a statement confirming that three BLA fighters Sangat Jamshed, Sangat Nawroz and Sangat Manwar Baig, were martyred in recent clashes with Pakistani forces across Quetta, Kalat and Sihaji.
On June 22, in the Daghari area of Quetta, a BLA patrol encountered Pakistani troops attempting to advance. A fierce, close-quarters battle erupted and lasted for an extended period. The clash resulted in multiple Pakistani casualties, while BLA fighter Sangat Jamshed aka Rizwan attained martyrdom during the engagement.
On the same day, in Kohak, Kalat, BLA fighters targeted Pakistani convoys consisting of motorcycles and vehicles with IED attacks, inflicting significant damage. Later in the evening, two BLA teams ambushed enemy foot soldiers in a nearby ravine from both sides, killing six Pakistani soldiers and injuring several others. During this hour-long confrontation, Sangat Nawroz aka King Najeeb was martyred.
Earlier, on June 20, in the Lungasi area of Dasht, BLA fighters clashed with Pakistani forces while en route for organizational work. Despite fighting valiantly and inflicting damage on the enemy, Sangat Manwar Baig was martyred in the encounter after sustaining injuries.
The BLA paid tribute to its fallen fighters:
- Sangat Jamshed (Rizwan), from Daghari, Quetta, was 29 years old. He joined BLA in 2019 and served as an urban guerrilla before moving to mountain warfare in 2024. He fought on the Bolan and Quetta fronts, known among his comrades for discipline, tactical brilliance and silent determination.
- Sangat Nawroz (King Najeeb), from Sungar, Mastung, joined the BLA in 2023 and was active in Mastung, Nagaho and Kalat. He was a symbol of ideological conviction and resilience, often leading operations from the front lines.
- Sangat Manwar Baig (Meerak), from Kalayro, Dasht Kech, joined the BLA just a year ago but quickly proved that commitment and courage are not limited by age. He served on the Siahji and Dasht fronts and was recognized as a living embodiment of revolutionary awareness.
The statement concluded: “The blood of our martyrs is the foundation of national liberation. It will continue to illuminate the path for future generations. We will never forget their sacrifice, their path is our path.”
