
The spokesperson for the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), Jeeyand Baloch, issued a statement to the media claiming that BLA fighters inflicted heavy losses on the occupying Pakistani forces, killing 15 soldiers in a series of six coordinated attacks in Kalat. These operations included the use of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and direct armed assaults.
He stated that today, BLA fighters targeted Pakistani soldiers stationed near a dam in the Manguchar area of Kalat with a remote-controlled IED. The soldiers had arrived to secure a military convoy at a temporary outpost where explosives had already been planted. As a result of the explosion, two soldiers were killed on the spot.
The spokesperson added that at the same location, another IED attack was carried out when enemy soldiers gathered in one place. Out of six soldiers present, two were killed instantly and four were seriously injured.
He further reported that BLA fighters struck another group of Pakistani soldiers near the Makki area of Morgund in Kalat. The troops had set up a temporary post to provide security for their convoy when they were hit by an IED, killing two soldiers instantly.
According to the statement, later in the day, BLA fighters targeted and killed two members of a bomb disposal squad who were conducting clearance operations in the area.
The BLA spokesperson also claimed that advancing Pakistani forces were targeted with a remote-controlled IED attack that completely destroyed their vehicle, killing all four personnel on board.
Additionally, another advancing convoy consisting of motorcycles and vehicles was ambushed by BLA fighters in the same region. One vehicle was completely hit in the attack, resulting in the death of three soldiers and serious injuries to two others.
The statement concluded by affirming that the Baloch Liberation Army takes full responsibility for all these attacks and reiterated its commitment to continue such operations against the occupying forces.
