Kalat: Youth Abducted and Killed During Military Operation in Mangochar, Body Recovered

KALAT: A youth was allegedly abducted and killed by Pakistani forces during a military operation in Chotank village of Mangochar, Kalat district, Balochistan. The deceased was identified as Saud Nechari, whose body was later discovered in an orchard reportedly owned by him.

According to local sources, Pakistani forces conducted a two-day-long operation in the area. During the operation, personnel entered the orchard and detained Saud Nechari. Eyewitnesses claim he was subjected to severe torture before being shot multiple times and left dead at the scene.

Residents reported that Saud’s body bore six bullet wounds. His body was later transported to a hospital by local authorities.

Sources further revealed that it was the forces themselves who eventually informed local officials, including the Deputy Commissioner, about the presence of a dead body in the area. The officials then arrived at the site and moved the body to a hospital for further procedures.

It is noteworthy that Saud Nechari was the brother of Kifayatullah Nechari, who was forcibly disappeared in 2015 at the age of fifteen and remains missing to this day. The Nechari family had previously staged a protest sit-in in Islamabad demanding Kifayatullah’s recovery. Following the protest, security forces allegedly raided their home and subjected the family to ongoing harassment.
