Pakistani forces and intelligence personnel have reportedly forcibly disappeared four individuals in separate incidents across Balochistan’s Kech, including a minor and a youth who had recently returned from abroad.
In the Pedarak area of Kech, Pakistani military personnel conducted raids during the night and early morning hours, detaining three members of the same family. The victims have been identified as Maulana Sikandar son of Muhammad Anwar, Siddiq son of Sabzal, and Ibrahim son of Muhammad Yaqoob. According to sources, Maulana Sikandar was taken from his home at around 2 a.m., while Siddiq and Ibrahim were detained at approximately 6 a.m. All three have since been missing, and their whereabouts remain unknown.
Separately, in the city of Turbat, agents believed to be from Pakistani intelligence services allegedly abducted a young man named Wahid son of Sawali near the Turbat Civil Hospital. Witnesses claim that Wahid was brutally beaten before being forcibly taken away in a vehicle. Wahid, a resident of Nasirabad, had recently returned to Pakistan for vacation after working in Dubai. His family has expressed grave concern for his safety and demanded his immediate release.
These incidents add to the growing list of enforced disappearances in Balochistan, where Pakistani forces are regularly accused of abducting civilians without legal justification. In many past cases, disappeared individuals have later been found dead or falsely portrayed as members of Baloch armed groups killed in staged encounters.
Families of the victims continue to call for justice and the safe recovery of their loved ones.
