Kalat : The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for an attack on Pakistani military and Frontier Corps (FC) personnel in the Mungachar area of Kalat, resulting in two soldiers killed and two others injured.
According to a statement issued by Azad Baloch, the spokesperson for the BLA, the attack took place in Dor area on June 3 when BLA fighters ambushed Pakistani forces who had cordoned off the region as part of a military operation.
“The BLA fighters launched the assault when the occupying forces were preparing for aggression in the area,” the spokesperson said, adding that the attack resulted in casualties and disrupted enemy operations.
Azad Baloch reiterated the organization’s commitment to continue its armed struggle until the formation of a free and independent Balochistan.
