Quetta: Grenade Attack on Police Injures Five

Quetta – At least five people, including a station house officer (SHO), were injured in a grenade attack targeting police near Bakra Mandi on the Eastern Bypass of Quetta, the capital of Balochistan.

According to police sources, unidentified assailants hurled a hand grenade at police personnel near the Bakra Mandi area. The injured, including the SHO of Manzoor Shaheed Police Station, were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Following the attack, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to apprehend the suspects.

This incident comes shortly after reports of explosions last night in the Western Bypass and Hina Orak police station jurisdictions. This marks the third such explosion in Quetta within the past three days, raising concerns over the deteriorating security situation in the city.
