In Malar Machi area of Awaran district, Pakistani forces raided a home at around 2 a.m. on the night of May 27. During the raid, the forces attempted to abduct the men, but the family resisted. In response to the resistance, the forces opened indiscriminate fire, killing two people including women and injuring one woman.
The next day, the forces raided the same home again and tried to take a 7-year-old child, but the family’s strong resistance prevented them from doing so.
It is worth noting that during the May 27 night raid, Pakistani forces subjected women and children to violence. The firing killed Hori Baloch, a woman, and Naeem Baloch, a young man, in front of their family members. Naeem’s mother, Dadi Baloch, was severely injured.
