Kharan: Pakistani Forces checkpost Attacked with Multiple Exposions and Heavy Gunfire

A security checkpost of Pakistani forces located on a bridge in the Tagzi area of Kharan district, Balochistan, was attacked by unidentified armed assailants around 8 PM tonight.

According to sources, the attack involved a series of six loud explosions followed by intense gunfire that lasted for a considerable time. There are fears of casualties and financial losses among the security forces, although no official statement has been released so far.

Local sources reported that following the incident, a large convoy of security forces was seen heading from Kharan city toward the attack site.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack as of yet.
