In Balochistan’s Kech district, a hand grenade attack on a house in Nasirabad, located about 40 kilometers from Turbat, left several people injured, including women and children.
According to sources, unidentified motorcycle-riding assailants threw a hand grenade into the house, which exploded with a loud blast, injuring the occupants. The injured have been identified as Meyar s/o Qasim, Ayesha d/o Shabbir, Fatima d/o Shabbir, and Shehzadi d/o Shabbir, all residents of Nasirabad.
Local residents said the attackers fled the scene immediately after the assault.
Local sources and social circles have alleged that the attack may have been carried out by operatives of the so-called death squads formed by the Pakistani military. It is worth noting that similar attacks have previously been reported in areas like Gomazi and Panjgur, where local homes were targeted, resulting in casualties and property damage.
