
Chaghi, Balochistan – A police raid in Dalbandin, Chaghi district, turned deadly after an exchange of heavy gunfire left two people dead and three others injured.
According to police sources, Dalbandin police conducted a raid on a house based on intelligence reports. During the operation, intense firing broke out. One police officer was killed on the spot, while a constable and the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) sustained injuries.
SP Chaghi stated that police retaliated and managed to kill one of the attackers, while another was injured. The wounded were immediately shifted to Prince Fahad Hospital in Dalbandin, while the DSP and other injured were later referred to Quetta for further treatment.
The police have cordoned off the area and launched a detailed investigation. However, the identities of the assailants and the motive behind the incident have not yet been disclosed.
