BLF Claims Responsibility for Attacks on Pakistani Forces in Jhaoo, Greshag, and Quetta

Quetta: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a series of attacks targeting Pakistani military installations in Jhaoo, Greshag, and Quetta, stating that the operations resulted in significant casualties and damages to the occupying forces.

In a statement to the media, BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch said that on the night of May 9, around 8:00 PM, BLF fighters attacked a Pakistani military camp in the Doliji area of Jhaoo using rocket launchers and other heavy weaponry. The assault continued for nearly an hour, during which multiple rockets were fired. According to the BLF, the attack inflicted heavy human and material losses on the Pakistani forces.

The spokesperson further claimed that following the attack, Pakistani forces retaliated by indiscriminately shelling civilian areas with mortar fire. However, BLF fighters safely retreated to secure locations.

On the evening of May 10, the BLF reportedly carried out another attack in the Greshag area of Khuzdar, near the CPEC route at Sireej Cross. The fighters targeted a military checkpoint with heavy weapons, launching multiple shells that landed inside the outpost, causing further casualties and damage.

Later that same night, at around 11:30 PM, BLF operatives allegedly threw a hand grenade at a paramilitary Frontier Corps checkpoint located near Quetta Degree College in the Sariab area. The grenade exploded inside the camp, resulting in additional losses, the group claimed.

Concluding the statement, the BLF reiterated its responsibility for the attacks and vowed to continue targeting what it calls “occupying forces” until the liberation of Balochistan is achieved.
