A Major Movement Has Emerged in Occupied Balochistan Against Enforced Disappearances, Inhumane Punishments, and Fake Encounters by Pakistani Forces. Advocate Raheem Baloch

Baloch pro-independence leader Advocate Raheem Baloch stated that the Pakistani military and intelligence agencies are highly deceitful. Whenever they come under international pressure over any issue, or their illegitimate grip on the country’s politics, governance, economy, and power begins to loosen, or when the public starts pointing fingers at their bloated budgets, corruption, cowardice, and other heinous deeds, they orchestrate some drama. In these staged acts, the military portrays itself as the only institution capable of ensuring Pakistan’s security and survival. Through such tactics, they silence critics and those who question the army’s vile role under the guise of patriotism even if it requires shedding the blood of their own citizens or engaging in limited conflicts with neighboring countries, the military does not hesitate.

He said that today, in occupied Balochistan, we are witnessing the emergence of a major movement among the Baloch nation against the enforced disappearances, the inhumane punishments in secret torture cells, and the extrajudicial killings of previously detained prisoners carried out by the Pakistani army, intelligence agencies, CTD, and other so-called security forces. The Baloch have started to raise an organized and powerful voice against these human rights violations, a voice so truthful and loud that its echoes are now being heard around the world. International human rights organizations and influential figures are increasingly expressing concern and criticism over the Baloch genocide and the Pakistani state’s terrorist and fascist actions against the Baloch human rights movement.

The Raheem Baloch further stated that, in addition to the growing international criticism of the military’s crimes in occupied Balochistan, Pakistan’s major opposition party has relentlessly exposed the military’s dark role inside and outside the rubber-stamp parliament. As a result, the false sanctity surrounding the army’s image has been badly tarnished. The military now appears increasingly failed and disgraced in every field, and public condemnation of the army is rising day by day.

He said that, therefore, in order to counter the international pressure over the Baloch genocide and state terrorism in occupied Balochistan and to suppress the growing wave of criticism regarding the military’s role in Pakistan’s politics—the Pakistani army and intelligence agencies recently staged a bloody incident in Pahalgam, Kashmir.

Advocate Raheem Baloch added that it seems this military conspiracy has successfully garnered support among Pakistanis in the name of patriotism, and as a result, global criticism of the state terrorism in Balochistan has started to fade. Now, instead of pressuring Pakistan over its fascism and terrorism in occupied Balochistan, the world is expressing concern about preventing a war between so-called nuclear powers. Similarly, Pakistan’s rubber-stamp parliament, puppet government, political, religious, and nationalist parties, the media, and even the critical opposition have once again aligned under the military’s leadership in the name of patriotism. However, this is only a temporary situation. The Baloch national freedom movement, which has been striking blows against the occupying enemy through its own strength, continues to resist the Pakistani army’s hypocrisy and brutalities with the same intensity as before.
