Duki: One Levies Officer Dies, Six Injured After Vehicle Plunges into Ravine

An incident occurred near Manki Dam in the Duki area, where a Levies Force vehicle plunged into a ravine. As a result of the accident, seven personnel, including the driver, were injured. One of them later succumbed to his injuries.

According to Levies sources, the accident took place while the personnel were chasing a suspicious “X” vehicle that had broken through a checkpoint and fled. Due to the dust and dirt in the area, visibility was poor, causing the Levies vehicle to lose control and fall into a deep ravine.

The injured personnel were immediately shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Duki, where three of the critically injured were referred to Quetta for further treatment. One of them later died due to the severity of his injuries.

The suspicious vehicle managed to escape from the scene. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
