PAANK Urges International Human Rights Organizations, Civil Society, and Media to Speak Out Against Enforced Disappearances in Balochistan

Dera Bugti, Balochista: The Baloch human rights organization PAANK has strongly condemned the enforced disappearance of Anwar Bugti, a Levies Force sepoy, who was abducted by personnel of the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and intelligence agencies.

According to reports, on April 10, 2025, Anwar Bugti, son of Muhgheem Bugti, was forcibly taken into custody outside the court in Sui, located in Dera Bugti district of Balochistan. Since then, his whereabouts remain unknown.

PAANK denounced the incident as a grave violation of human rights and international law. The organization has demanded that the authorities immediately disclose Anwar Bugti’s location, ensure his safety, and respect legal procedures.

The PAANK also urged international human rights organizations, civil society, and media to raise their voices against the ongoing wave of enforced disappearances in Balochistan.
