QUETTA, BALOCHSITAN: Amid the ongoing series of enforced disappearances in Balochistan, reports have emerged of four persons being forcibly disappeared, while five others have been released.
According to details, in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung, Sanaullah son of Muhammad Anwar was taken into custody by the Frontier Corps (FC) at 9 am on September 1 and subsequently went missing.
From Haji Qasim Shahwani Street in Quetta, 30-year-old Imdad Shahwani son of Rauf Shahwani was taken into custody from his home by police and the CTD at 7 am on August 30 and went missing thereafter.
Similarly, 18-year-old Shamroz Shahwani son of Munir Ahmed was taken into custody from his home in Quetta by the CTD and police at 9 pm on May 12 and went missing, while student Hudhaifa Shahwani son of Nizamuddin was taken into custody from his home in the same area by the CTD and police at 2 am on April 7 and went missing.
On the other hand, there are also reports of the release of five individuals belonging to Balochistan. Shakir Baloch son of Abdullah was disappeared from the Geshkor Kolwah area of Awaran on August 22 and was released from the same area on August 24.
Zubair Baloch son of Muhammad Yaqoob was disappeared from Siahozai, Basima in Washuk on August 23, and was released in Karachi on August 31.
Saeed Ahmed son of Abdul Aziz was disappeared from Surab on July 12 and was released at Main RCD Road, Surab, on August 20, while Khalil Ahmed son of Muhammad Noor was also disappeared from Surab on July 12 and was released at Main RCD Road, Surab, on August 25.
Saifuddin Baloch son of Muhammad Iqbal Baloch was disappeared from Kili Sarawan in Kharan on August 23 and was released in Karachi on August 31.
