KACHHI, BALOCHISTAN: The Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) claimed responsibility on Monday for an attack on a Pakistani military cantonment in the Sanni area of Balochistan’s Kachhi district.
According to a statement issued by the group, its fighters targeted the cantonment early Monday morning using both light and heavy weapons in what it described as a large-scale assault. The group claimed the attack caused casualties and financial losses to the forces stationed there.
BRG spokesperson Dostain Baloch said in the statement that the group’s forces carried out the attack and vowed that such operations would continue “until the complete independence of Balochistan.”
