
QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: Attack on Pakistani Forces, Railway Track Destroyed in Blast
Two separate incidents occurred in different areas of Balochistan on Monday: an attack on a Pakistani forces’ checkpoint in the Alandur area of Balida tehsil in Kech district and damage to a railway track near Musa Colony in Quetta caused by an explosion.
In Buleda’s Alandur area, unidentified armed men targeted a checkpoint belonging to Pakistani forces. Local sources said the attack involved several explosions followed by a heavy exchange of gunfire. However, no official details have been released regarding the nature or duration of the attack or any potential casualties or damage.
Separately, in Quetta, unidentified individuals planted explosive material on a railway track near Musa Colony. The resulting blast damaged a section of the railway line.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for either incident, while authorities are conducting investigations to determine the causes and identify those potentially responsible.
