PARIS: Dr. Naseem Baloch, Chairman of Balochistan National Movement (BNM), has issued a strong condemnation of the enforced disappearance of Khadija Baloch, highlighting it as a stark example of the brutal actions perpetrated by Pakistan in Balochistan. He described the abduction of Khadija, a young woman pursuing education, as not only repression but a heinous crime against humanity, characterizing the ongoing situation in Balochistan as genocide.
Dr. Baloch criticized the international community for its silence in the face of such oppression, stating that silence equates to complicity. He urged global actors to wake up, speak out, and hold Pakistan accountable for these human rights violations.
In Addition, Dr. Naseem Baloch emphasized the grim reality of enforced disappearances in Balochistan, often carried out openly in front of families who, when resisting, face violence. He referenced the recent abduction of Dad Shah for the second time and the assault on his family, including his sister Fozia Baloch, an activist with the Baloch Youth Council (BYC).
According to Dr. Baloch, these acts expose the systematic nature of state terrorism in Balochistan, deliberately designed to instill fear and silence dissent.
