VBMP Calls for Immediate Recovery of Disappeared Student Mumtaz Baloch

QUETTA: The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) has expressed concern over the enforced disappearance of Mumtaz Baloch and urged authorities to ensure his safe recovery without delay.

According to details, Mumtaz Baloch, a fifth-semester student in the Balochi Department at the University of Balochistan (UOB), was reportedly taken into custody on the third night of Eid from Kolwai Bazaar in the Absar area of Turbat by personnel affiliated with Pakistani security forces and moved to an undisclosed location.

Family members state that no reasons have been provided for his detention, nor has any information regarding his condition been shared, causing severe distress among his relatives.

The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) assured the family that it would raise the case with relevant authorities and advocate for justice, while calling on the government to take immediate steps to ensure his safe recovery.
