QUETTA: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), said four of its fighters were martyred in separate clashes with Pakistani security forces in the Panjgur and Kalat, Balochistan, according to a statement issued by the group on Saturday.

In a statement attributed to Major Gwahram Baloch, spokesperson for the BLF, the group said its fighters were carrying out what it described as a covert organizational mission in the Tasp area of Panjgur on January 25, 2026, when personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC) attempted to surround them, leading to what it called a close-range armed clash.

The BLF claimed that several FC personnel were killed and wounded during the confrontation, while three BLF fighters were martyred.

The group identified the fighters martyred in the Panjgur clash as Captain Farooq Baloch, also known as Sohrab, son of Muhammad Anwar and a resident of Paroom, Panjgur; Adeel Baloch, also known as Hameed Baloch, son of Murad Jan and a resident of Essa, Panjgur and Ahmad Baloch, also known as Dedaar, son of Muhammad and a resident of Chitkan, Panjgur.

According to the statement, Captain Farooq Baloch joined the armed struggle in 2012 through the Baloch Republican Army (BRA) and later became part of the BLF in 2015. The group said he served on multiple fronts and was later promoted to the rank of captain, a position he held until his martyrdom.

The BLF said Adeel Baloch joined the group as an urban fighter in January 2023 before moving to mountainous areas, while Ahmad Baloch joined the organization in February 2024 and took part in several operations prior to his martyrdom.

The statement also reported the martyrdom of a fourth BLF fighter, Captain Hafiz Abdul Wahab, also known as Babar, in a separate incident in Kalat. According to the group, Abdul Wahab was martyred in a clash with the Pakistani army on December 6, 2025, while travelling on what it described as organizational duties in the Harboi area of Kalat.

The BLF said Abdul Wahab, a resident of Hazar Ganji, Quetta, joined the group in 2019 and initially operated as an urban fighter in Quetta before moving to mountainous regions in 2024, including Bolan, Nagaho, and Harboi. The group claimed he remained engaged in combat to allow his companions to withdraw safely and remained in charge of the Harboi area until his martyrdom.

In its statement, the BLF paid tribute to the fighters and reiterated its commitment to continuing what it described as its struggle. The group said the fighters had been active on multiple fronts and that their sacrifices would not go in vain.
