Noshki: Curfew Imposed; N-40 Highway Open During Daytime Hours

NOSHKI: The district administration of Noshki has imposed a curfew in the area from 5:00 pm to 9:00 am amid the prevailing security situation. Residents have been advised to remain indoors during curfew hours and cooperate with authorities.

According to security forces, the Noshki–Quetta National Highway (N-40) will remain open for all types of traffic from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday. Light vehicles, passenger transport, and other traffic will be allowed to travel on routes including N-40, Taftan–Dalbandin–Noshki, Gardagap, Panchpai, and onwards to Quetta during the permitted hours.

However, traffic on the N-40 highway will remain completely closed from 5:00 pm until 9:00 am the following morning, and no travel will be allowed during this period. Security forces said the same schedule will remain in effect until further orders.

The Noshki New Bus Terminal will remain open on Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm for public use, transporters, and shopkeepers. Similarly, all markets in Noshki city and surrounding areas will be allowed to operate during the same hours.

After 5:00 pm, all business activities, travel, and movement will be suspended until the curfew is lifted the next morning, security officials said.

Security forces have urged the general public, business community, traders, and transporters to strictly follow these directives and cooperate with law enforcement agencies. Officials said the measures on the national highway and within the city are being implemented to ensure the safety of passengers, traders, transporters, and residents, and to prevent any loss of life or property.
