Family Urges Government to Ensure Safe Release of Forcibly Disappeared Mufti Zubair

Khuzdar: The family of Mufti Zubair, son of Murad Khan Jatak, a resident of the Saleh Abad area of Khuzdar, has appealed to the government to ensure his safe release, as he remains forcibly disappeared with no information about his whereabouts.

According to the family, Mufti Zubair was forcibly disappeared by security forces on the night of November 20, 2025, at around 12:00 a.m., after being taken from the Lak Pass area of Quetta. Since then, the family says no official information has been provided regarding his condition or location.

Family members said they are deeply distressed and anxious, and have urged the government and heads of state institutions to play their role in securing Mufti Zubair’s safe release and ending the family’s prolonged suffering.

The family also appealed to human rights activists, political and social organizations, and civil society to raise their voices for the early and safe release of Mufti Zubair Jatak.
