Khuzdar: A convoy of Pakistani security forces was attacked on the RCD Highway near Ornach Cross.
According to the information available, unidentified assailants targeted the convoy traveling from Quetta to Karachi. One vehicle in the convoy was reportedly destroyed in the attack, and several security personnel were killed or injured.
Local sources said the attackers opened fire on the convoy and multiple explosions were also heard during the incident. Following the attack, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
The bodies of the deceased and the injured personnel were shifted to a nearby medical facility, sources added.
There has been no official statement from authorities so far regarding the incident or the reported casualties.
