Quetta: The protest camp organized by Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) against enforced disappearances has completed 6,031 days on Tuesday. The camp has been continuously held outside the Quetta Press Club to demand the recovery of missing persons.
On this occasion, people from various walks of life visited the protest camp and expressed solidarity with the families of the missing persons. Participants called for the complete end to enforced disappearances and the immediate recovery of all missing individuals, stating that the issue represents a serious human rights crisis affecting not only the families concerned but society as a whole.
They urged state institutions to act in accordance with the constitution and the law and to ensure justice for the affected families.
Speaking on the occasion, VBMP Chairman Nasrullah Baloch said that the prolonged duration of the protest camp is clear evidence that the issue of enforced disappearances remains unresolved. He emphasized that the protest will continue until all missing persons are recovered and their families are provided justice.
