QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: Blockade and Snap Checking by Baloch Freedom Fighters in the Deghari Area of Quetta
According to a Zrumbesh source, Baloch fighters blockaded the Daghari area of Quetta for several hours and conducted snap checking. They burst the tyres of three vehicles heading to Punjab and arrested all three drivers, taking them away.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
It may be noted that earlier the same day, armed men also seized a Mazda truck in Kalat and took it away with them.
It is also worth noting that the latest incident involving the seizure of commercial vehicles occurred a day earlier in the Charsar area of Dalbandin, Chagai district. Armed men who had taken control of the trade highway seized three vehicles travelling from Quetta to Taftan and two vehicles travelling from Taftan to Quetta five vehicles in total.
