KHUZDAR, BALOCHISTAN: Bridge Damaged in Explosion on M-8 Highway in Khuzdar
Unknown assailants used explosives to severely damage a bridge near Zeedi Safed Pahar in Khuzdar district on the evening of August 21, according to reports. Traffic was partially disrupted following the blast.
A subsequent accident at the damaged section left one person, identified as Haji Imran, dead and six others injured, after motorcyclists failed to spot the damaged roadway amid low visibility.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
